Born on September 15, 2005 in Ternopil (Ukraine), Sofiia Plakhtsinska began violin lessons at the age of 5 with her mother Natalia Plakhtsinska at the Ternopil Music School. She continued her education from the age of 11 with Maria Hereha and Lidia Futorska at the music high school in Lemberg. In February 2020 she began her studies at the University of Art in Graz with Prof. Emilio Percan. He is currently studying at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen with Prof. Andrey Baranov.

Born on September 15, 2005 in Ternopil (Ukraine), Sofiia Plakhtsinska began violin lessons at the age of 5 with her mother Natalia Plakhtsinska at the Ternopil Music School. She continued her education from the age of 11 with Maria Hereha and Lidia Futorska at the music high school in Lemberg. In February 2020 she began her studies at the University of Art in Graz with Prof. Emilio Percan. He is currently studying at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen with Prof. Andrey Baranov.

She took part in master classes with the following musicians, among others: Daniel Hope, Boris Kushnir, Boris Garlitsky, Oleksiy Semenenko, Valeriy Sokolov, Emilio Percan, Dominika Falger, Jan Romanowski, Maxim Brilinskiy, Oleh Krysa.

She also performs regularly with the following orchestras: Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Sion Chamber Orchestra, Dubai Youth Symphony Orchestra, Lemberg Organ Hall Chamber Orchestra, Lemberg Youth Chamber Orchestra, Ternopil Chamber Orchestra, Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv National Philharmonic, Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Ternopil National Philharmonic, Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Kharkiv National Philharmonic, Academic Symphony orchestra of Kyiv National Philharmonic, Zaporizhia National Philharmonic Academic Symphony Orchestra, Kyiv Radio Symphony Orchestra, Kyiv Youth Symphony Orchestra.

She has performed the double concerts with Oleh Krysa, Valeriy Sokolov, Daniel Hope and played chamber music with Anna Ulaeva, Anfisa Bobylova, Alexey Shadrin.

She played at various festivals and concert halls: V International Festival «ODESSA CLASSICS» (Ukraine), National Ukrainian Radio Festival «I am Virtuos», VIII International «Festiwal Muzyki Fortepianowej im. Marii Turzański» (Jarosław, Poland), National Merzifon Culture Festival (Turkey), «d’Idéal au Potager du Roi edition 2022» (Versailles, France).

She is a prizewinner in the following competitions:

Since 2022 she has received a scholarship from the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
