Anna Samuil made her debut in 2003 as Violetta at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden and has been a permanent soloist since 2004.
Since then she has been here e.g. as Donna Anna, Fiordiligi, Contessa, Tatjana, Mimì, Musetta, Adina, Micaëla, Elisabetta, Agathe, Rosalinde, Ariadne and Elsa.

Since then she has been here e.g. as Donna Anna, Fiordiligi, Contessa, Tatjana, Mimì, Musetta, Adina, Micaëla, Elisabetta, Agathe, Rosalinde, Ariadne and Elsa. Her career has taken her to many important stages around the world: to the Teatro alla Scala, the Metropolitan Opera, the state operas in Munich, Dresden and Hamburg and the opera houses in Valencia, Tokyo, Lyon and Pittsburgh. As a guest she celebrated great successes at the Salzburg Festival and the international festivals in Aix-en-Provence, Edinburgh, Glyndebourne, Verbier, the Arena di Verona and at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
She works extensively with conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta, Sir Neville Marriner, Lorin Maazel, Antonio Pappano, Plácido Domingo and Kirill Petrenko. Anna Samuil studied singing at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Irina Arkhipova. She has won prizes at international singing competitions such as the Tchaikovsky Competition and “New Voices” as well as the “Franco Corelli” and “Riccardo Zandonai” competitions. Concerts and recitals have taken her to the Royal Opera House and the BBC Proms in London, the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Bruxelles, the Berlin Waldbühne and the Cologne Philharmonic, the Moscow Bolshoi Theater, the Kissinger Sommer and the Rheingau Music Festival. In 2008, Anna Samuil was awarded the Daphne Prize by the TheaterGemeinde Berlin for her outstanding performances.
